Big, Unlimited 2009–2016 Tax Credits for Installing Solar, Wind, or Geothermal


Wow! The new 2009 law gives you uncapped and unlimited tax credits for installing qualified solar, wind, or geothermal energy improvements in your home, vacation home, or other residence.1

 

For each 2009 qualifying solar, wind, or geothermal dollar you spend, you earn a 30 percent tax credit. There’s no limit on the dollar amount of the credit, so feel free to spend away. You don’t have to rush either; this credit does not expire until after midnight on December 31, 2016.2
